A great performance from all the players that took to the pitch against a strong and organised opposition.
Erdington continued their games on the road as they travelled to play Exiles 2nd XV in a friendly fixture.
Erdington started well and maintained possession through dogged performances from the forwards creating space for the backs but they were unable to convert their chances. Playing the majority of the half in Exiles side of the pitch, they were unfortunate to go into the half time without scoring.

The pressure continued and mid way in to the second half good work from Erdington’s forwards inside the 5 meters allowed them to extend their lead. Liam Francis scored following a quickly taken penalty. Converted 0-12.
Towards the end of the game Exiles had possession inside Erdington’s 22 and scored from a quick penalty. Converted. 7-12.
In the final play of the game good work down the right wing saw Ross Graham score Erdington’s third try of the afternoon. Missed 7-17.

A fantastic performance, topped off with a try at the end, earned Ross Graham man of the match in which must have been the hardest decision for the coach this season as every player did their part.
Erdington return home next week as they welcome Woodrush 2nd XV to Spring Lane in the Greater Birmingham Merit Table.
