As we look forward to the new season, we invite our players (past and present), members and the community to come to our President’s Day! We are taking this opportunity to bring the whole club together and show how we have continued to grow since rising from the ashes in 2017.
The day will include a demonstration training session for our Mini & Junior rugby, which we continue to be able to offer for free thanks to Changing Lives Through Rugby. A demonstration of our Griffins Rugby League program, made possible through our links with Coventry Bears RL. And the latest addition to our setup, Aethon Touch Rugby. This is a social touch rugby team set up this summer, made up mainly of parents of the Mini & Junior’s, introducing some of them to playing the game for the first time.
Our show piece game will be our 1st XV, who play in the GB Merit Table, taking on specially invited guests Camphill 3rd XV in the President’s Day game. This will also include representation from The Spotted Dog, who have long standing traditions with our club.
