With our rugby season being put on hold, a few of the team used their spare time and energy to support the local community. Thom Last, Joe Eyles and Andy Truman spent Friday delivering food and supplies to people stuck in doors due to the coronavirus.
They did this through a group set up by another of our club, David Owen, who has been working hard over the last few weeks to bring together people in the community to help each other out.
It was a great opportunity, that the club intends to build on, to give back to the people of Erdington who have welcomed the club on their return to Spring Lane. Not only by providing new players, but being pleased to see a rugby team back in the area.
